Blackfish (Movie Reveiw)

        This documentary is amazing! It is a terrible thing that happened but the documentary is very good. Having the orcas is captivity is terrible and they don’t deserve it, SeaWorld knows what they are doing is bad and that is why they are lying. If they tell the truth they will most likely be sued and they would lose their orcas, ummm I’m sorry those orcas are in captivity so technically they are not SeaWorlds orcas. The movie is a true representation of what SeaWorld did and what they are doing, in the movie they are convincing us that it is a bad idea to keep the orcas at SeaWorld and it really isn’t that hard to see that SeaWorld shouldn’t have the orcas. In the documentary they tell us the story of how many trainers died but their is a trainer named Dawn who was the best trainer at SeaWorld at the time. One day the SeaWorld afternoon show was going poorly and the orcas were not listening, there was a later show that was going to happen when Dawn would feed the orcas, Dawn had to feed Tilikum, Tilikum was know for being one of the main orcas at SeaWorld but he had been kept in captivity for most of his life and he had killed before. People say “It wasn’t Tilikum fault it was an accident.” They say “It was the trainers fault!” They don’t ever think for a second that it was Tilikum’s fault, I don’t elieve that it was Tilikum’s fault but it wasn’t the trainers fault, I actually believe that it is SeaWorld’s fault that all the trainers are being killed, yes I said trainers. Tilikum was being captivated by SeaWorld until he sadly died last year (2017,) everyone loved Tilikum and SeaWorld kept denying that Tilikum was the killer. Orcas are smart , they have their own language and they know what is going on, the most likely cause of the orcas killing was agrivation, Tilikum was a male orca, when an orcas dorsal fin is bent over it is most likely a sign of depression, Tilikum had a flopped dorsal fin. No animal should be held captive for money or to please someone because just like us they have a family and they deserve to live in the wild and be free. Another thing that SeaWorld does is lie, they tell us “We are helping the orcas, in the wild they only live about twenty to thirty years and at SeaWorld they live for about fourth to fifty years.” Orcas live about as long as a human does when the human dies at old age.
