Favorite song

My favorite songs are from the broadway musical Hamilton, all of the songs in Hamiltonare informational and very upbeat and even if you are listening to the songs in the playlist that aren’t upbeat you just want to sway to the music. I couldn’t even think of chosing a favorite Hamilton song but there is one  that Id like to share and I have a lot of other favorite Hamilton songs but I am chosing the ones I am telling you about because they are really great songs. The first song I want to share is “Burn” and this is a good one, Eliza Hamilton sings “Burn” because Alexander cheated on her and she feels like the whole world is burning around her. She sings about how he betrayed her and how she saved every single letter he wrote her when they were apart and how that they don’t mean anything to her anymore because he cheated on her while she was visiting her father. Eliza was agrivated with how he told everyone what happened and so she set the letters on fire, she sang about how she felt wh

Another Poem!!!

I was looking through poems and I knew that I wanted something that spoke to me, I thought something was good and then I would find something even better. I stumbled upon this poem and I knew that this was the one that spoke to me the most. The poem says:                                I’ve dreamed many a dream that never came true                                         I’ve seen them vanish at dawn                             but I’ve realized enough of my dreams, thank god,                                     To make me want to dream on                      I’ve prayed many prayers when no one came to answer                             Though I waited patient and long                But answers have come enough of my prayers                     To make me want to keep praying on                                  I’ve trusted many a friend that have failed                    And left me to weep alone                                But I’ve found enough of my f

My Favorite Poem

I don’t really read poems, I can write poems and I CAN read peoms but I don’t, now since I don’t it made this blog very difficult... Anyway, you clicked on this blog to read about my favorite poem not how I don’t read them. I would say my favorite poems are by Shel Silverstein because his poems are really funny and they make people laugh but some of them are serious and they capture life. I don’t have a lot to say, Shel Silverstein has written MANY poems and they are all amazing. I think my favorite book he wrote was “Where The Sidewalk Ends” I’m not sure if that is the exact title of the book but I assume it is. I know we were supposed to write about our favorite poem but since I don’t read them a lot I don’t really have a favorite, I don’t have anything else to say I guess, thanks for reading!

Chicago History Project

In school we were told that we had to do a Chicago history project, I contemplated a lot on what I should research and what I would like until I found the perfect thing. John Wayne Gacy was a serial killer in Chicago and he murdered 33 young boys around 16-19 years of age, I knew I wanted to research a serial killer but there were two to chose from and I liked both. Here are some facts about John Wayne Gacy: John Wayne Gacy was beat and verbally abused by his father when he was a child and he got a concussion which caused a blood clot in his brain when he was eleven, it was not discovered until he was sixteen. John Wayne Gacy started killing in 1972 after being convicted after forcing a 15 year old perform oral sex after being piled with alcohol and drugs, he was put in jail for a ten year sentence and after his first year he paid a man to hurt the father of the once 15 now 16 year old boy. He was let out of prison after serving 18 months and purchased a house on 8213 Summerdale Avenue

4th Quarter goal

My fourth quarter goal is to practice a lot for band at home. In band I do pretty well, most people in my class are not that good and I don’t practice that much. I take band very seriously and I try to be as good as I can and then I tell myself I sound really good and then I don’t practice at home. I might occasionally play my songs for my family but I only play it once or twice a month at home. Some times I stumble on the music or I get lost and I stop because I don’t know what we are playing, I try not to mess up on things but everybody does and maybe if I spent more time practicing I would get lost less. Another thing is since it is our first year we don’t get to do that many cool songs and the songs that we do are about eight inches long, the songs the seventh and eigth graders play are a whole page or even two. I know when I get older I will practice more but I want to practice more so I can become one of the best band players in my class.

My break

The past week we have had spring break, it was fun while it lasted and I enjoyed spending time with my family. I binge watched a lot of shows on Netflix and played Mario Kart with my little brother Ben, Ben would always come into my room and tell me he wanted to play with me and I would whine and then he would get really upset and would scream at me to play with him. Sometimes over break my lust for ice cream would come and I would ask my mom if I could have ice cream if I rubbed her feet. She would make me do it for a while and I usually spend around ten minutes and then I got a lot of ice cream and I would take it to my room and eat it while binge watching shows. Some days we would go to the park and one park we went to had a zip line thing with two poles and a line connected, on the line was a seat thing and you would go to the higher pole that had a platform leading up to it and you would zip line down. My siblings and I would take turns and me and my brother tried to stand on it w
