Christmas Break

Yay!!! Today is 12-18-17 and Christmas is a WEEK (seven days) away!!! For break we go to school today (Monday), Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and then! We don’t have to school on Friday!!! Now it’s Wednesday and I am so EXITED!!! Tomorrow is the last day before break and we will probobly have a “fun day.” I hope we get to watch a lot of movies and once break starts I hope to binge some show and books. I have a really good feeling about break and I can’t wait to hang out with my friends! Also, Christmas is in 5 DAYS!!!!! I really hope that I get tickets to Hamilton because I REALLY!!! Want to go, another thing that ALL my siblings want, including me, is the Nintendo switch (I am not kidding it is on all of our Christmas lists.) So even though it is Christmas break we are asked to “Stay Productive!” I think the way I will stay productive is by working on IXL (math app) and read, I am really enjoying this book I am reading but it is taking me a while to finish so I will be busy...

Incentive Day

So, MAP test is over and now comes the reward, our incentive. Our school has an incentive after we finish MAP testing, there is a catch though. In order for us to get the incentive this months we needed to grow by two points in two of our MAP tests. I grew in two of my tests but in one of tests I grew in, it was only by one point. I was really disappointed in myself because I thought I could do better, I decided that it wasn’t fair, in excel (home room) I went to go talk to my teacher. I told her that I thought that I should be able to do the incentive because I am higher than the grade average and once you are up high on the tests it gets harder to go up. When you are at a lower score you can make larger jumps but when you are so high it is hard to keep going up, after I talked about it for a while she told me that the sixth grade team had a meeting and they decided that if any students were above avarege that they could do the incentive. Later in the week we got to chos...

Forgiveness

Please check out my post titled “Honesty” before reading.  Forgiveness is an important thing that we all have in our hearts, we all possess the power to forgive. When someone does something bad like lying to you it feels bad and it possibly could hurt you, I have never held a grudge for someone for a long time and even though you might be mad for days, weeks, months, it is always best to forgive. When you are the person that lies you feel bad about it right? Right?  I know I do, if the person you lie to finds out they might get mad at you, when someone gets mad at you they might not forgive you right away, when someone is mad at you you should be disappointed in yourself and it feels bad to be in the position where you are the one that hasn’t been forgiven. You should alsways forgive someone who hurts you because they are probably in the position you where in when you lied to someone and they didn’t forgive you, if the person really hurt you you can ...

Honesty

I always hear “Honesty is the best policy” and it is, if you do something you are not supposed to you can get in trouble. If you lie about something saying you didn’t do it or saying someone else did it, you can get in big trouble. You might even get in more trouble then how much trouble you would of gotten in if you had told the truth, people think that they will get in huge trouble if they tell the truth even though honesty is the best thing that you can do. I don’t like to lie, but sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t say anything when something happens, when you don’t speak up you have a guilty mind, when I lie  feel bad and I know that was a bad thing to do, that is how you should feel. When you lie to your family you should feel a burden because you are lying to the people who take care of you and love you, I do not like lying to my family AT ALL and I feel terrible when I do, you should never lie to your family because they don’t lie to you (unless something is go...

MAP testing

MAP testing, it’s a pain, and everyone hates it, even me! MAP testing happens three to four times a year and it takes a long time to finish, unless you are guessing the whole time, I love learning, I feel like the more I learn the more I grow and the smarter I am. On all of my MAP tests I am above grade average, that makes me feel accomplished and good about myself, now since I am higher than the grade average there are consequences. On MAP it is easier to go up when you are at a lower score, well if you have a higher score and you don’t know what the answers to stupid questions like 7x + 5x = ? It is harder to go up, once you are already above the grade level. After the MAP tests finished I felt accomplished for how good I did and I was SO glad that the tests were over and I can’t wait until the next MAP tests to see how much more I grow.

Slice Of Life (part 2)

Last week I went to the mall to see a movie, The Murder On The Oriental Exspress, but the problem was they didn’t have the movie there, and Coco was sold out! We decided to just roam around the mall, I was with my sister and her two friends from church, we decided to go to Five and Below first since it was the closest, I got some Haribo peach things, they we’re good. We bought our stuff and left, after that we went to Hot Topic and looked around, a lot, I saw some really cool stuff which was (obviously) exspensive, I managed to scrape up some money that was in my wallet and I bought two pins for four dollars and I got one free! Then we decided to go to Chinese/Asian places, surprisingly they had some cool stuff there but we didn’t like it enough to buy it, after that we decided to go to Candy Junction, I had never been to Candy Junction so I was exited to check it out. After we went to Candy Junction we headed over by the food court and we waited until our parents...

My super villain

My super villain is named Death Man, he has one son and a wife, he loves them dearly and he is 26 years old. His hair is black and he has green eyes, he is five feet and nine inches tall, his catch phrase is “I AM HERE!” (Catch phrase from an anime “Boku No Hero Academia”) his siblings are hero’s and so are his parents. He takes off of his grandparents who are also villains like him, his wife is a villain but his son doesn’t know and wants to be a hero. His hobbie is making black cats with green eyes his minions, he went to U A high (also from the anime I stated earlier) which is a REALLY good hero school. His short team goal is to have another kid (a girl,) and his long term goal is to be a number one villain, his greatest flaw is not being able to fly and his greatest quality is loving his family. His weakness is his son loving hero’s and hating Death Man, and he loves his son more than anything, when he is sad seeing his son makes him happy, Stay tuned for a story abou...
